‘Does she know you?’ is about the next potential partner of an ex that you think is never going to know them the way you did. I had the idea for the song when I was asking myself the same questions over and over again, so I sat down on the piano and turned those questions into a repetitive vocal melody. The vocals create a certain void that make the song minimalistic, yet this minimalism contrasts with the energetic beat and dark sounding instruments.
